Classical Harmonium Solo Competition

Harmonium Foundation Goa is organizing 6th All Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka Classical Harmonium Solo Competition in the memory of Legendary Harmonium Player Late Pt. Tulshidas Borkar (Guruji) on Saturday, 23rd December 2023.

Rules and Regulations

  • 1. The 1st round of the competition will be held on online mode and will be judged in video form. The competition will be All Goa Maharashtra and Karnataka Level.
  • 2. Each contestant will have a maximum of 10 minutes for their presentation, during which they should include the following:
    • Name of Raga.
    • The recording must have the name 'Harmonium Foundation Goa' before starting the presentation.
  • 3. 15 participants will be selected for the final round that will be held offline on Saturday, 23rd December 2023 from morning 9 AM. At Ganesh Vidhyamandir School Hall, Mapusa, Goa. Prior intimation will be given for the final 15 contestants along with rules and they need to confirm their entries.
  • 4. Participants should shoot the video along with tabla accompanist, and can use electronic tanpura. The video Should be unedited. If there is any sort of editing it will be disqualified from the competition.
    The size of the video should not be more than 200MB and on a horizontal screen.
  • 5. Entry fee will be Rs 350 only.
  • 6. Age limit is Upto 25 years as on December 2023. Adhar card or Birth certificate need to be attach as age proof.
  • 7. The results of the online round will be announced on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, and the names of the 15 selected contestants will be declared. The judge's decision will be final.
  • 8. Entry forms should be filled out on the Harmonium Foundation Goa website by midnight on November 25, 2023, along with the video.
  • 9. Prizes
    • 1st 5000/- with Trophy
    • 2nd 3000/- with Trophy
    • 3rd 2000/- with trophy
    • 2 Consolations of 1000/- each
